2. Internet adaptation: cross device and cross platform collaboration
Compatible with the entire range of Extreme rack mounted network devices, it can seamlessly link with PoE switches and optical modules in the same rack, automatically synchronize VLAN and QoS policies, without the need for manual configuration on a device by device basis;
Support integration with the ExtremeCloud IQ (XIQ) cloud platform, which can upload real-time operational data of all devices in the rack (such as port traffic and fault alarms), achieving hierarchical monitoring and operation of "rack network".
3. Redundancy guarantee: dual control+link dual backup
Support dual controller hot standby deployment (1+1 redundancy). In the event of a main controller failure, the backup controller will have control over all devices in the rack within 100ms, without any perceived interruption to the business;
Built in rack link redundancy management function can automatically detect the status of interconnection links between devices, quickly switch to backup links in case of link failures, and ensure continuous data transmission between devices in the rack.
4. Security protection: Rack level boundary control
It can achieve rack level segmentation, dividing different business devices (such as office terminal equipment and storage server equipment) within the same rack into independent security domains. Data exchange between domains requires authorization to prevent cross business data leakage within the rack;
Support rack level threat detection, which can monitor abnormal connections (such as illegal access and abnormal traffic) of devices in the rack in real time. Once a threat is detected, the relevant device ports can be blocked with one click, improving the overall security of the rack.
